Happy 4th of July!!!!

Hope everyone had a great 4th of July weekend! Here's a quick update on what I'm into these days...and what I look like (as I'm changing everyday) . I've discovered my first foods...and even frozen bananas...yummy, but always ready for a bath not too long after! I got to visit with my Grandpa Ron and Grandma Ronda on Memorial Day and they took me to the park for a fun day. I finally got to meet Mrs. Jeanna and Bryce...and is he ever cute. Sorry Mr. Bob and Mrs Michelle, Will's got some competition, so he better make a play date soon. My daddy took me on my first jog with Ipsy and I loved my new buggy. I've been sick (thanks to Mommy and Daddy...and my 6 month shots) but am feeling a little better...can't believe I'm 6 months already (and neither can Mom or Dad). I'm learning to get up on my knees...but can't figure out what to do with my legs. I just rock back and forth. Looking forward to many new fun things this summer and hope my Mommy and Daddy do better at keeping you all up to date. Love, Karis

Finally....NEW PICS! (Enough Said!)

Hi all....sorry we are such bad bloggers! We are at Grandma and Grandpa Christopher to celebrate Karis' 3 month milestone and an Early First Easter! We left from North Carolina on Sunday and stopped to see our old Michigan Neighbors Jason, Lindsey, Lakyn, Tatum and Gidget Canada (along with Jason's Parents Rick and Linda who were the most gracious hosts). Here is a sampling of recent pics; Wearing the Carolina Hurricanes outfit that my daddy said I had to have.....my new Carolina outfit that my cousin Ashley got so I could cheer on UNC during March Madness all the way to the Finals! Granna Delois giving me my first Ice Cream Sammy! Bathtime...always a favorite. Visiting with my friends in TN. Hanging with my sister Ipsy. Happy Easter everyone! So cute! Hope everyone is doing well...and we'd love to hear from you soon! Love, Dana, Ryan, Karis and Ipsy too!

Dedication Day, and Catching everyone up!

First, let us say sorry for the month between posts. Between camera difficulties and Dana being left with solo baby duties for awhile it didn't make it to the top of the "to do" list. Blogging is hard work...lol. Hopefully we can keep everyone up a little better in the future. On Sunday, Karis was dedicated at Aversboro Rd Baptist Church, Dana's hometown church in North Carolina. Grandpa Ron and Grandma Ronda made the event even more special by surprising us, making the long drive from Indiana. Since our last post, so much has happened. Karis is changing by leaps and bounds. She didn't even have to go back to Michigan for her first snow. She also has had many more VIP visits.....Uncle EC and Auntie LoLo flew in for a weekend in Jan. We had a great visit and Karis even got to start her modeling career with her Aunt Lauren taking the time to take lots of great pictures of her. It's almost scary how much she looks like her Uncle Eric! ha. Our dear friends Cindy and Miranda (Dana's second mother and "sister") made the trip across the state to see the newest addition to the family. Karis also had her first real bath and ride in her stroller. And despite our better judgment, Karis had her first "date" with Will Denning (Bob...we have to talk! Ryan...lol) Hope to hear from everyone sooner than later.
That's it for now...Dana, Ryan and Karis

Changing everyday...

It's amazing how Karis is changing day to day. Today we took her for her first post hospital checkup and then to visit Dana's Godmother. There were extreme winds in the area but luckily we weren't blown away by them...but we are still blown away by how amazing she is to us. She already has quite the grip and even beginning to get some strength in her neck by trying to pick her head up. She did mention that she already misses Grandma and Grandpa Christopher...and is so excited for Uncle EC and Aunt LoLo's upcoming visit. I was also excited that she got to watch her first "Red Wings" game with Daddy and look forward to taking her to the Joe someday!

Homecoming!

Today almost 48 hours from when Karis was born...Mother and Daughter came home. It was an exhausting 2 days but I'm sure as you parents out there know...I imagine it only gets more so from here. The Grandma's and Mom had fun "dressing up" Karis in her first outfit to come home in. It was fun to get to watch when cousin Cheyenne and Sister Ipsy got to meet her for the first time. We look forward to getting to see everyone when we feel up to it or if you drop by. I know it's harder for our Michigan friends though and understand if you wait on us. Love, The Christopher's
